Changing ring time on mobile phone before it diverts to messagebank
Did you know you can change the ring time on your mobile phone before a call diverts to message bank? On any mobile phone just dial: **61*101**followed by the number of seconds you want it to ring (which can be any number between 5 and 30 seconds), followed by the hash key (which looks like this: #) Then press the call/send button to complete.

You will need you mobile phones IMEI number (15 digits) which can be obtained by pressing *#06# on your mobile phone.
PUK Code (Telstra Customers)
Step 1: Call 132000
Step 2: When asked for the reason for your call, say: "P. U. K. code"
Step 3: You will be directed to our automatic mobile unlocking service. This service will guide you through the process of obtaining an unlocking code. Your PUK (Personal Unlock Key) is actually a lock in your SIM card, not your phone, and it’s designed to protect your account from unauthorised access.

How to set-up/remove my Call Forwarding options:
If you want to change your Call Diversion and Call Forwarding settings, you can call 1800 104 046 or your Telstra Business Account Representative, or just follow these simple steps.

To set-up Call Forward Immediate.
- Lift your phone’s handset and wait for the dial tone.
- Dial *21
- Key in the number you want your calls forwarded to.
- Press # and hang up.

To remove Call Forward Immediate.
- Lift your phone’s handset and wait for the dial tone.
- Dial #21#
- Hang up.

To remove Call Forward Busy.
- Lift your phone’s handset and wait for the dial tone.
- Dial *24
- Key in the number you want your calls forwarded to.
- Press # and hang up.

To remove Call Forward Busy.
- Lift your phone’s handset and wait for the dial tone.
- Dial #24#
- Hang up.

To set-up Call Forward No Answer.
- Lift your phone’s handset and wait for the dial tone.
- Dial *61
- Key in the number you want your calls forwarded to.
- Press # and hang up.

- Lift your phone’s handset and wait for the dial tone.
- Dial #61#
- Hang up.
Stop unwanted SMS, picture MMS or other mobile spam:
The first step to stop further messages is to reply to the received ringtone, wallpaper or joke and type in the text: STOP RINGTONES or STOP JOKES or just STOP.
If this has worked, you should receive a confirmation text message.
If you receive these messages from multiple providers, you will need to send a STOP message to each provider.
If you continue to receive the messages after sending STOP, contact the provider directly. The contact number for the provider is in the SMS you sent the STOP reply to. You can also find it on your Telstra Mobile Bill under 'Separate Purchases'.
